A Greater Manchester based charity all about helping ordinary women do extraordinary things. Women can access small grants to help them overcome an obstacle that keeps them from following their dreams or simply gives them a leg up in times of hardship. The women the Birdhouse Fund support have generally been held back by lack of education/ qualifications, a deprived background or even an abusive relationship.
The Well Heeled Divas support this charity financially and Jane Kenyon, our Founder sits on their Executive Board.
PinkStinks is a campaign and social enterprise that challenges the culture of pink which invades every aspect of girls' lives.
This site is for parents, and aims to gather support, promote discussion and ultimately to mobilize that support to influence marketeers and the media about the importance of promoting positive gender roles to girls.
